Convertible Top Front Lock Switch -F172-, Convertible Top Locking Readiness Switch -F542-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the windshield frame trim panel. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - VEHICLE INTERIOR TRIM PANELS .

-- Carefully warm up the seal -1- near the convertible top lock using the Wiring Harness Repair Set - Hot Air Blower:VAS1978/14A  .

-- Loosen the seal carefully from the windshield frame -2- in direction of -arrow-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 4-.

-- Remove the switch unit -3-
