Gas-Filled Strut, Venting
Procedure
-- Clamp the gas-filled strut in a vise in area -x- = 50 mm.
WARNING:
- Clamp only within this area, otherwise accidents could occur!
- Wear protective eyewear when sawing.
NOTE:
Cover the area of the saw cut with a cleaning cloth to catch any oil that is spraying out.
-- Saw on the gas-filled strut cylinder within the first third of the overall cylinder length. Use the edge on the piston rod side for reference.
