Bumper Cover Side Reinforcement, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -4-, if equipped.

-- Free up the wiring harness -1-.

-- Carefully remove the clips -5- from the guide tab with a screwdriver.

-- Remove the bolts -3-.

-- Remove the side reinforcement -2-.

-- The following components must also be removed if the reinforcement is being replaced:

• If equipped, remove the lane change assistance control module. Refer to appropriate service information. .
