-- Remove the hook release lever. Refer to HOOK RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Version 1: release the lock carrier cover catches -5- on the radiator grille -4- and the bumper cover -3- with the :T40233  .

-- Version 2: remove the expanding rivet using the :T40172B  .

-- Remove the lock carrier cover -2- from the groove in the lock carrier -1-.

-- Remove the lock carrier cover.

-- Insert the operating lever hook again.
