Engine Lifting Eye
Bolt
- Tightening specification: 27 Nm
Supercharger
- With charge air coolers
- Supercharger, Removing and Installing, refer to SUPERCHARGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Charge Air Cooler Assembly Overview, refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR SYSTEM .
- Secure for work on the Engine And Transmission Holder VAS6095, refer to SUPERCHARGER, SECURING TO ENGINE/TRANSMISSION HOLDER FOR REPAIR WORK .
- Secure for leak test on the Engine And Transmission Holder VAS6095, refer to SUPERCHARGER, SECURING TO ENGINE/TRANSMISSION HOLDER FOR LEAKAGE TEST .
Insulation Plate
Bolt
- Tightening specification: 5 Nm
Rubber Grommet
- Quantity: 2
Intermediate Flange
Bolt
- Tighten the bolts -arrows- to 10 Nm in a diagonal sequence.
Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-
- Removing and installing, refer to Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
O-Rings
- Replace
Connection
Bolt
- Tighten the bolts in three steps as follows: 1: 5 and 6, Install all the way in by hand. 2: 6, 10 Nm, 3: 5, 10 Nm.
Bracket
- For change-over valves
Bolt
- Tightening specification: 9 Nm
Bolt
- Tighten the bolts in three steps as follows: 1: 5 and 6, Install all the way in by hand. 2: 6, 10 Nm, 3: 5, 10 Nm.
Intermediate Flange
Control Valve Control Unit -J808-
- Removing and installing, refer to Control Valve Control Unit -J808-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bleed Screw
- Tightening specification: 1.5 to 3.0 Nm
- For the left charge air cooler
Bolt
- 1: 5 and 6, Install all the way in by hand. 2: 6, 10 Nm, 3: 5, 10 Nm.
Intake Air Temperature Sensor -G42-
- Removing and installing, refer to Intake Air Temperature Sensor -G42- /Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor -G71-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
O-Rings
- Replace

- Tightening specification: 20 Nm
O-Ring
- Replace
Threaded Pin
- Tightening specification: 17 Nm
Bolt
- Tightening specification: 10 Nm
- Replace
- Self-locking
- always clean the threaded holes with a thread tap before assembling
Charge Air Pressure Sensor
- Cylinder bank 1 (right) Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-
- Cylinder bank 2 (left) Charge Air Pressure Sensor 2 -G447-
- Removing and installing, refer to CHARGE AIR PRESSURE SENSOR - G31 - / - G447 -, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
