Camshaft Adjustment Valve 2 -N208- / Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 2 -N319-, Removing And Installing, Cylinder Bank 2 (Left): Removing

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

Fire hazards and risk of damage for a faulty engine cover.

  • The engine cover must be always be installed before the hood is closed.
  • The engine may neither be started nor driven without an engine cover.

Vehicles with the Engine Codes CGTA/CTFA:

-- Loosen the clamps -arrows- and remove the left air guide pipe.

-- Remove the connectors -1- from the mount -2- disconnect them, and then free up the wires.

-- Unclip the mount upward.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and the double bolt -3- and then press the wiring guide -2- slightly upward.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2- and free up the wiring harness -arrows-.

-- Push the wiring harness forward.

-- Remove the affected bolt -1- and then remove the valve.
