Wheel Alignment

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 23 other vehicles, including the 2017 Audi S5, 2017 Audi A5 Quattro, 2016 Audi S5, 2016 Audi A5 Quattro, and 2015 Audi S5. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Wheel Alignment Must Only Performed Using Vw/Audi-Approved Wheel Alignment Equipment.

Each Time Wheels Are Aligned, Both Front And Rear Wheels Must Be Aligned.

Otherwise, Proper Vehicle Drivability Cannot Be Ensured.

NOTE:

Axle Alignment Should Not Be Performed Until The Vehicle Has Been Driven 1, 000-2, 000 km, Since It Takes This Long For The Suspension To Settle.

The Individual Specifications Should Be Followed As Exactly As Possible When Making Adjustments.

WARNING:

If The Vehicle Has ESP or ABS, Calibrate The Steering Angle Sensor -G85- Using The Vehicle Diagnosis Tester After Doing Any Adjusting On The Suspension.

CAUTION:

The Suspension Components Could Be Damaged.

If The Subframe Mount, The Steering Gear Or The Subframe Crossbrace Are Not Installed Correctly, Do Not Rest The Vehicle On Its Wheels.

The Vehicle Must Not Be Supported On The Subframe Or The Subframe Crossbrace (e.g. Using A Floor Jack).

WARNING:

If Vehicle Will Be Driving On The Streets, All Screws And Nuts Must Be Tightened Properly!

WARNING:

Danger Of Personal Injury Caused By The Engine Starting Automatically On Vehicles With The Start/Stop System.

  • When The Start/Stop System Is On (Recognizable By A Message In The Instrument Cluster), The Engine May Start Automatically.
  • Make Sure The Start/Stop System Is Off Whenever Working On The Vehicle. Turn Off The Ignition And Turn It Back On Only When Necessary.
