• Torque wrench:V.A.G 1332 
• Shock absorber set:T10001

1. Stone Protection Plate
2. Shock Absorbers
   • Only shock absorbers with the same part number may be installed on the left and right.
   • Removing and installing, refer to SHOCK ABSORBER .
   • Note different types of suspension versions, see vehicle data plate. Refer to PRODUCTION CONTROL NUMBER (PR NUMBER) EXPLANATIONS .
   • Faulty shock absorbers must be vented and emptied before disposal. Refer to REAR GAS-FILLED STRUT, VENTING .
   • Check removed shock absorber. Refer to SHOCK ABSORBERS, CHECKING WHEN REMOVED .
3. Washer
   • Always use.
4. Protective Tube
5. Buffer Stop
6. Upper Shock Absorber Mount
   • Installed position, refer to Figure.
7. Nut
   • 35 Nm
   • Always replace if removed.
   • Loosening and tightening, refer to Figure.
