Tie Rods: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following: 

Tightening specifications, refer to HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING GEAR OVERVIEW .

Tightening specifications, refer to HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING GEAR WITH TIE RODS OVERVIEW .

-- Install tie rod using the :V.A.G 1923  -2-. Counterhold at the power steering gear coupling rod with an open end wrench -1-.

-- Replace the spring clip -3- and clamping sleeve -1-.
