Latch, Removing And Installing

1. Latch

   -- Left: remove the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to OVERVIEW - WINDSHIELD WASHER SYSTEM .

   -- Remove the bolts and pull the rear lid latch from the lock carrier.

   • Engage the release cable. Refer to Release Cable, Engaging in Lid Lock .
     NOTE:

     To adjust the hood height, move the lid lock up or down as required.

2. Lock Carrier
3. Bolt
   • 11 Nm
4. Connector
   • When installing the rear lid latch, press in and lock the connector in the lock carrier.

• For a new lid lock the cover -1- must be pushed in and by this engaged.
