Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing, RS3: Removing
-- Sportback: remove the front wheel spoiler. Refer to FRONT WHEEL SPOILER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, RS3 SPORTBACK .
-- Sedan: remove the wheel housing liner. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SEDAN .
-- Disconnect the central connector -arrow-.
-- Place a drip tray under the coupling point for the washer fluid hose.
-- Press the release button and remove the washer fluid hose -1- for the headlamp washer system.
-- Seal the hose coupling with clean plugs from the : VAS6122 .
-- Sportback: push the loosened wheel housing liner aside and remove the bolts -2 and 3-.
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.
-- Disengage the side piece -3- from the front side panel -arrow- and remove the bumper cover forward with a second technician.
If removing the side wall from the catches is very difficult, loosen the bolts on the bumper cover mount.
