Overview - Antenna Systems, 3-Door And 5-Door Vehicles

The antenna systems consist of window antennas, a Roof Antenna - R216- and bumper antennas.

Window Antennas

• Antenna -R11- (AM/FM1)/TV Antenna 3 -R57- (TV3) to the Antenna Amplifier -R24- on the left side of the rear lid at the top
• Radio Antenna 2 -R93- (FM2)/TV Antenna 2 -R56- (TV2) to the Antenna Amplifier 2 -R111- at the bottom of the rear lid on the left side
• Digital Radio Antenna -R183- (DAB)/TV Antenna 1 -R55- (TV1) to the Antenna Amplifier 3 -R112- on the right side of the rear lid at the top

Roof Antenna -R216-

• GPS Antenna -R50-, only for 7UH/7UF/7UG/EL1/EL5/NZ3
• Telephone Antenna -R65-, only for 9ZC/9ZE and NZ0
• Auxiliary Heater Antenna -R182-, only Europe and 9M9
• Satellite Tuner Antenna -R172-, only NAR and QV3
• Emergency Call Module Antenna -R263-, only for ERA-GLONASS (NZ3)

Bumper Antennas

• Telephone Antenna -R65- under the rear bumper cover on the right side, only on 9ZE/9ZC and NZ3
• GSM Antenna -R205- under the rear bumper cover on the right side, only Audi A3 e-tron from 11/07/2016 (EL1/EL5)
• LTE Antenna 1 -R297- under the rear bumper cover on the left side, only for EL3/EL5
• LTE Antenna 2 -R306- under the rear bumper cover on the right side, only for EL3 and NZ0

Additional antennas

• Near Field Communication Antenna -R269- in the center of the instrument panel, Japan only
• Traffic Data Antenna -R173- at the top of the windshield, Japan only
• LTE Antenna 2 -R306- in the center instrument panel on the right side, only on EL5 and 0K3 or on EL3/EL5 and NZ3
