Towing Recognition Control Module -J345-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3-DOOR AND 5-DOOR VEHICLES: Removing

-- Remove the left luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Manual trailer hitch: pull off the frame -2- slightly from the threaded pin -1-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -3 and 5-.

-- Release the retaining tab -6- in direction of -arrow- and remove the towing recognition control module -4- from the frame.

-- Electric trailer hitch: pull off the frame -2- slightly from the threaded pin -1-.

-- Open the tab -arrow- and remove the towing recognition control module -4- from the frame.
