Wind Deflector, Removing And Installing: Installing

NOTE:

Pay attention to the different wind deflectors

Wind Deflector without a Retractor.

-- Place the spring -1- in the wind deflector -2-.

-- Push the wind deflector with the spring -1- rearward in the retainer.

-- Install the bolts -2- and tighten to the specification OVERVIEW - SLIDING SUNROOF List Item:Bolt.

NOTE:

The wind deflector bearing remains installed, it is only shown removed for better illustration.

-- Position the wind deflector diagonally -3- and engage on the side in the bearing -3-.

-- Place the spring -2- as shown in the wind deflector -1-.

-- Pivot the wind deflector forward and place the spring in the guide on frame -arrow-.

-- Align the center molding -1-, or let it rest at the stop -arrow-.

NOTE:

The molding must rest on the stop otherwise waves can form when pushing into the frame.

-- Press the molding -1- in the front frame -2-.

NOTE:

Push the molding evenly and completely in the frame, so that no wave formations develop.

-- Push the molding -1- with an assembly tool in the frame -2- retaining tabs -arrows-.
