Sunroof Frame, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the glass panel. Refer to GLASS PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front trim. Refer to SLIDING SUNROOF FRONT TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector to the sliding/tilting sunroof.

-- Remove the headliner. Refer to ROOF TRIM PANELS .

-- Remove bolts -1- on the sliding sunroof.

-- For removal the adhesive -1- between the sunroof frame -2- and the body must be cut.

-- Place the :VAG1561A  with the :VAG1561/22  at the rear between the body and the frame and cut free the adhesive on both sides forwards.

-- Cut free the sunroof frame between the windshield and the body as shown.

-- Do the same and cut free the rear sunroof frame.

-- Cut through the adhesive bead from inside the vehicle between the sunroof frame and the body as shown.
