Backrest Release, Removing And Installing, Super-Sport Seat: Removing

-- Remove the backrest release trim. Refer to BACKREST RELEASE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER-SPORT .

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER-SPORT SEAT .

-- Remove the padding from backrest in the area of the backrest release. The seat does not have to be removed. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER SPORT SEAT .

-- Pivot the backrest release bearing -1- upward until stop and hold in this position.

-- Remove the connecting cable -4- from the bracket.

-- Remove the bolt -3-.

-- Carefully pull the cover with the cushion near the backrest release as far forward as possible.

-- Push the backrest release -2- forward until stop and at the same time disengage from the backrest frame.

-- Pivot the backrest release forward, disengage from the bracket and release.

-- Pivot the operating lever -1- upward until stop.

-- Disengage the connecting cable from the operating lever.

-- Unclip the connecting cable -2- from the backrest release and remove.
