Backrest Release Bracket, Removing And Installing, Super-Sport: Removing

-- Remove the backrest release trim. Refer to BACKREST RELEASE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER-SPORT .

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER-SPORT SEAT .

-- Remove the padding from backrest in the area of the backrest release. The seat does not have to be removed. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER SPORT SEAT .

-- Carefully pull the cover with the cushion in the area of the bracket as far forward as possible, until the bolts for the bracket are accessible.

-- Disengage the bracket -2- from the backrest release and remove.
