Airbag Connector, Disconnecting
-- Move the front seat all the way to the rear in its highest position.
-- Remove the expanding clip -2- and fold up the section of the carpet -1-.
-- Unclip the cable holder -3-.
WARNING:
- Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING WITH PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS .
- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.
-- Disconnect the connector -5- for the thorax airbag from the connector station, to do this release the retaining tabs.

-- Connect the :VAS6282 to the thorax airbag connector.
CAUTION:
The :VAS6282 must stay connected to seat until the seat is installed again.

Ensure Airbag Adapter Engages Correctly.
