Gas-Filled Strut, Removing And Installing, Sedan
- Gas-Filled Strut
- Only installed on left side
- Removing
-- Remove the side trim panel.
-- Lift the retaining springs -arrow- and remove the gas-filled strut from the ball pin. Refer to GAS-FILLED STRUT, DISENGAGING .
- Installing
-- Install in the correct position, the impact absorber (with the label >>Body<<) must be pressed on the ball pin on the body side.
- Rear Lid
- Ball Pin
- Riveted with the rear lid hinge or the body.
