Fender Brace, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front wheel housing liner. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the headlamps. Refer to HEADLAMPS .

-- For vehicles with a TDI engine, loosen and set aside the fuel filter. Refer to FUEL FILTER For engine(s) CRUA] .

-- Free up the wiring harness -4- from the fender brace -5-.

-- Slightly lift the wiring channel -3- in the direction of -arrow- and loosen the bolt -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 6-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- from below turning to the right using an E5 external TORX^® .
