Front Parking Aid Sensors -G252-/- G253-/-G254-/-G255-, Removing And Installing, Vehicles From My 2017: Removing
Exterior Sensors
- Vehicle equipment version with auxiliary radiator: Remove the auxiliary radiator and set it aside with the coolant hoses attached. Refer to → Radiator/Radiator Fan; Auxiliary Radiator, Removing and Installing.
- Loosen the wheel housing liner in the front area and push it aside. Refer to → Front Wheel Housing Liner, Removing and Installing.
- Left: remove the horn. Refer to 2.2.2 High Tone Horn H2/Low Tone Horn H7, Removing and Installing. .
- Press both tabs to the side in direction of -arrows- and at the same time, push the sensor -3- through from the outside toward the inside.
- Disconnect the connector -2- by sliding the retainer -1- back and pressing the release down.
Interior Sensors
- Audi RS3: Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to → Front Bumper; Bumper Cover Removing and Installing.
- Remove the front parking aid sensor mount. Refer to → Radiator Grille, Removing and Installing.
- Press both tabs to the side in direction of -arrows- and remove the sensor -1- from the mount -2- at the same time.
