Rear Axle Camber
Camber cannot be adjusted.
If measured values are not within the specified range, check the axle beam for damage and replace if necessary.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Torque Wrench 1332 40-200Nm :VAG1332
- 18 mm socket from the Shock Absorber Set :T10001
- Insert Tool - 18mm :T10179
-- Remove the nut -A- on the upper control arm threaded connection from the subframe and loosely install a new nut.
-- Set the camber by turning the eccentric bolt -B-.
- Use the 18 mm socket -1- from the :T10001
To turn the eccentric bolt, turn the hex head at the "top of the bolt".
NOTE:
The maximum adjustment range is 90° to left or right of center position.
-- Tighten the nut -A- using the :T10179 .
-- Use the :T10179 -1- as shown.
-- After the nut is tightened, check the camber value once more. Refer to AXLE ALIGNMENT SPECIFIED VALUES .
