Muffler, Removing And Installing, Fwd Vehicles: Removing

-- Remove the rear tunnel brace -2-. Refer to UNDERBODY TRIM PANEL .
-- Loosen the clamping sleeve -arrow- and push it toward the rear.
-- Disengage the mounting -2- from the exhaust system rear section.
WARNING:
Risk of accident due to the weight of the muffler.
- A second technician is required to remove the rear muffler.
-- Remove the bolts -3- left and right as well as bolt -4- and remove the muffler -1-.
