Catalytic Converter - Tightening Specification And Sequence

-- Tighten the threaded connections in steps in the sequence shown:

Step Screw-Type Clamp/Nuts Tightening Specification
1. -1, 3 and 4- Install by hand all the way
  • It must be possible to slide the catalytic converter and bracket back and forth.
2. -2- Tighten the screw-type clamp to 15 Nm.
3. -1, 3 and 4- Tighten to 20 Nm
