4. Charge Air Cooler And Charge Air Cooling Circuit Cooler, Flushing With Distilled Water

-- Use hose clamps to clamp off the bleeder hoses at the locations indicated.
-- Open the shut-off valve -A- on the valve block. Distilled water is now pumped through the engine.
-- Monitor the sight window: if the coolant begins to discolor, close the shut-off valve -A-.
- Required amount of distilled water: approximately 2 liters
Repeat the flushing procedures 1 through 4, but only pump through approximately one liter of distilled water each time. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, FLUSHING . Then flush the cooling system with coolant.
