Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Reduce the residual pressure in the cooling system: cover the coolant expansion tank cap -arrow- with a cloth then carefully open quickly and then close.

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- with the :T10501  .

-- Loosen the clamp -2-, and remove the air guide pipe -1-.

Vehicles with a Manual Transmission

-- Remove the gearshift and the selector lever cable from the transmission, remove the cable mounting bracket and move it to the side with the cables. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - SELECTOR MECHANISM /OVERVIEW - SELECTOR MECHANISM .

-- Free up the wiring harness -1-.

-- Remove the nut -4- and bolts -2 and 3-.

-- Push the left coolant pipe slightly to the left.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the double bolt -2-, and remove the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-.
