Engine, Supporting In Installation Position: Procedure

-- Remove the plenum chamber cover -5-. Refer to SUBFRAME MOUNT [For transmission(s) 0GC]SUBFRAME MOUNT [For transmission(s) 0D9] .

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER .

-- Vehicles with a 1.8L engine: release the retainer in direction of -arrow- and remove the engine cover mount -1-.

-- Remove the caps over the front suspension strut threaded connections.

-- Position the :10-222A/31-1  and :10-222A/31-2  onto the mounts for the suspension struts.

• The ribs -arrow- face the direction of travel.

-- Position the :10-222A/4  with the :T40091/3  as shown.

-- Install the additional tools on the left in the engine compartment as shown.

-- Engage the carabiner hook of the :10-222A/11  at the left engine lifting eye -arrow-.

-- Slightly pretension the engine/transmission assembly with the spindle, do not lift.
