Crankshaft, Measuring Axial Clearance: Procedure

-- Secure the :VAS6079
with the :VW387
to the cylinder block, as illustrated, place it against the crankshaft.

-- Press crankshaft against dial gauge by hand.
-- Set dial gauge to "0".
-- Press crankshaft off dial indicator and read the value.
