Flange Input Shaft Ring, Replacing, 0BC

The ring can only be replaced with the input shaft removed.

Punch VW 408 A
Support Channels VW 457
-3- Separating Tool 22 to 75 mm, for example, Kukko Separating Tool 12-75 mm17/1

Input shaft removed. Refer to INPUT SHAFT SEAL, REPLACING, 0BC .

The ridge -arrow 1- on the ring -A- must fit into the groove -arrow 2- on the flange -B-. The smaller outer circumference -arrow 3- faces the flange.

The ring -A- must fit into the groove all around the flange. Refer to Fig 2.
