Exhaust Door Control Unit -J883-, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Attach the new exhaust door control unit. While doing so, make sure that the control unit coupling plate -1- engages in the exhaust door tab -2-.
-- Insert the new bolts and position the new nuts.
-- First tighten the upper bolt and then the lower one -item ) OVERVIEW - MUFFLER, VEHICLES WITH FRONT WHEEL DRIVE AND TORSION BEAM AXLE - Nut.
-- Remove the protective cap for the connector and connect the connector -1-. If necessary, secure the heat shield.
-- After replacing the Exhaust Door Control Unit -J883-, the adaptation values must be adapted in the engine control module. The switch on the ignition and select the following menu items on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
