Spoiler Lower Section, Removing And Installing, RS3 SPORTBACK: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal and Note The Following: 

-- Clean the adhesive surface on the bumper cover with Cleaning Solution :D 009 401 04  .

• The vehicle and the spoiler lower section must be at room temperature.
• The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.

-- Using the applicator -3-, apply the Bonding Agent :D355 205 A2  -item 1- evenly in one stroke on the adhesive surface -2-.

-- Clean the bonding agent treated area with a clean disposable paper towel and let dry for 10 minutes.

• If the Bonding Agent :D 355 205 A2  dries longer than 3 hours, then it must be primed again.

-- Fold back the ends of the protective film, or attach a pulling aid -arrow- to the protective film -4-.

-- Place the spoiler lower section -1- on the bumper cover -2- and push in until it engages audibly.

-- Remove the protective film using a pulling tool -3- and press the spoiler lower section on the entire length of the bumper cover.

• Vehicle resting time is at least 2 hours at room temperature.
