Vibration Damper Sealing Ring, Replacing: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to Noise Insulation, Removing And Installing .

-- Remove the right wheel spoiler. Refer to Spoiler, Removing And Installing .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Open the clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air guide pipe.

-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the vibration damper. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seal -arrow- with the Seal Installer - Crankshaft :T40274  .

-- Clean the contact and sealing surface.

-- Push the seal -arrow- on the Seal Installer - Crankshaft :T10354  .

• The closed side of the seal points to the :T10354  .

-- Push the seal -arrow- with the :T10354  on the :T10531/2  and place on the lower timing chain cover.

-- Additionally attach the :T10375  and tighten the :T10531/4  .

-- Drive the seal in all the way using the :T10354  .

-- Install the vibration damper. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
