Upper Timing Chain Cover, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the O-ring.

-- Coat the sealing ring and the O-ring with engine oil.

-- Install the upper timing chain cover using the :VAG1783  and :VAG1783/1  . Tightening sequence. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205-. Refer to Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
