All Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING GENERATION IV: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition.

-- Disconnect the harness connectors -1 and 2- at the upper control module.

-- Place : VAS6208 under final drive.

NOTE:

It is useful to have large enough tool trolley and some rags nearby on which removed parts can be placed.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Carefully remove the control module -A-.

-- Remove the cover -item 3- from the all wheel drive clutch housing if necessary. Continue holding the valve -arrow-. Refer to -item 3- OVERVIEW - All Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-, GENERATION IV.

-- Cover the Final Drive Clutch Control Valve -N373- -arrow- with a cloth, grab the valve body with pliers and remove it.
