All Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING GENERATION IV: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

The valve sealing rings have different internal diameters.

• -1- internal - diameter 10 mm
• -2- internal - diameter 11 mm
• -3- internal - diameter 12 mm
• -4- valve body seal

-- First coat the seal -1- with the High Performance All Wheel Drive Clutch Oil and place it on the Final Drive Clutch Control Valve -N373-.

-- Then insert the sealing ring -2, 3 and 4-.

-- Press the centering lips (quantity 4) of the sealing ring -4- into the groove.

-- Place the new cover -2- on the control module -1-.

-- Insert the Final Drive Clutch Control Valve -N373- -3- into the control module -1-.

-- Carefully position the control module -A- and tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification. Refer to -item  2- OVERVIEW - All Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-, GENERATION IV.

-- Check oil level in all wheel drive clutch. Refer to HIGH-PERFORMANCE ALL WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH OIL .
