Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

Fire hazards and risk of damage for a faulty engine cover.

The engine cover must be always be installed before the hood is closed.
The engine may neither be started nor driven without an engine cover.

-- Remove the air filter, refer to => 411.

-- Disconnect the connectors:

for Ignition Coil 4 with Power Output Stage -N292-
for Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the camshaft position sensor.
