Left And Right Timing Chain Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

When installing, bring all cable ties back to same positions.

-- Remove the rear engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the affected secondary air injection combination valve. For the left, refer to LEFT COMBINATION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and for the right, refer to RIGHT COMBINATION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Left Timing Chain Cover:

-- Remove the bolts -1- and move the bracket together with the wiring harnesses to the side.

NOTE:

Ignore items -2 and 3-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 8- and the bracket -arrows A and B-.

-- Carefully remove the left cover for the timing chain from the bond.

Right Timing Chain Cover:

-- Disconnect the connectors and free up the wires.

4 - for Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39-

5 - for Oxygen Sensor after Three Way Catalytic Converter -G130-

NOTE:

Ignore -1, 2 and 3-.

-- Remove the bolts -3- and move the bracket together with the connectors to the side.

Ignore items -1 and 2-.

-- Free up the wiring harness on the right timing chain guard.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 8- and the bracket -arrows A and B-.

-- Carefully remove the right cover for the timing chain from the bond.
