Steering Angle Sensor -G85-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

NOTE:
The steering wheel must be in its center position when removing and installing the Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring with Slip Ring -F138- (the vehicle wheels are in the straight ahead position).
-- Lower the steering wheel as far as possible.
-- Remove the driver airbag. Refer to Passenger Protection, Airbags, Seat Belts .
-- Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering .
-- Remove the steering column trim. Refer to [Interior Equipment .
-- Remove the Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring with Slip Ring -F138- -2- from the switch module -3-. Refer to Exterior Lights, Lamps and Switches .
