Fastener Tightening Specifications

Balance weight to center differential housing ¹	-	20 + 90°
Bracket to the left flange shaft with the bearing	-	10 + 45°
Transmission fluid (MTF) drain plug	-	45
Transmission fluid (MTF) fill and check plug	-	45

NOTE:

Replace bolts that are tightened to the specification.

-- Tighten the bolts in three steps in the sequence shown:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-1 through 10-	3 Nm
2.	-1 through 10-	20 Nm
3.	-1 through 10-	Tighten 90° further

-- Tighten bolts in 8 stages as follows:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	Aluminum bolts -1-	8 Nm
2.	Aluminum bolts -2-	Tighten the bolt hand-tight.
3.	Aluminum bolts -1-	Loosen again and then install all the way hand-tight
4.	Aluminum bolts -3-	Tighten the bolt hand-tight.
5.	Steel bolts -4-	Tighten the bolt hand-tight.
6.	-1, 2, 3, 4-	10 Nm diagonally
7.	Steel bolts -4-	15 Nm
8.	-1, 2, 3, 4-	90° additional turn, diagonally
