Rear Cover Plate, Removing And Installing, QUATTRO Vehicles: Installing

-- Position the cover plate -2-.
-- Install and tighten the bolts -1-.
-- Install the rear brake rotor. Refer to Installing
Make sure the brake hose is routed correctly. Make sure the brake hose is not blocked, bent or rubbing against the vehicle.
-- Clip the electrical wires into the bracket on the stub axle carrier.
NOTE:
Make sure the wire are installed correctly in the brackets on the stub axle carrier so that they can come out of the brackets on their own.
-- Install the wheels.
Wheel bolt tightening specifications. Refer to Wheels, Tires, Wheel Alignment .
-- Lower vehicle.
WARNING:
Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
After installing, press the brake pedal several times firmly to properly seat brake pads in their normal operating position.
Check brake fluid level, and fill if necessary.
