Only install complete repair kit.

- Connection for the brake pad wear indicator wireNOTE:
Install in the bracket.
Make sure the bracket is installed correctly.
- Brake Pad Wear Display Wire
- Bleed Screw
- 11 Nm
- Electromechanical Parking Brake Motor
Refer to Left Parking Brake Motor -V282- /Right Parking Brake Motor -V283-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
Refer to Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Ribbed Bolt
- 35 Nm.
- Always replace
- When loosening and tightening, counter-hold at guide pin
- Brake Caliper
- Do not remove the brake hose when changing the brake pads.
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER WITH BRAKE CARRIER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Refer to REAR BRAKE CALIPER, REPLACING
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, ELECTROMECHANICAL PARKING BRAKE
- Brake Pad Bolt
- 5 Nm
- Brake Rotor
- For the correct wear limit. Refer to REAR BRAKES .
- Always replace on both axles.
- Remove brake caliper before removing
- For brake rotor allocation. Refer to BRAKES, TECHNICAL DATA .
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Refer to REAR BRAKE ROTOR, REPLACING
- Brake Pads
- Always replace on both axles.
- Refer to REAR BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Brake pad allocation. Refer to BRAKES, TECHNICAL DATA .
- Check the brake pad thickness. Refer to =>
411.NOTE: Inner brake pad with brake pad wear display wire
- Brake Pad Spring
- Always replace when pads are replacedNOTE: Make sure it fits correctly in the brake carrier.
- Always replace when pads are replaced
- Brake Carrier with Guide Pins and Cap
- Supplied as an assembled replacement part with sufficient grease on guide pins
- Install the repair kit if the caps or guide pins are damaged. Use supplied grease packet to lubricate guide pinsNOTE: For brake rotor removal, removing the brake carrier.
- Brake Carrier Bolt
- 100 Nm + 90°
- Always replace
- Bracket
- Bracket Bolt
- 10 Nm.
- Brake Hose
- Brake hose in brake caliper 20 Nm.
- Brake hose to brake line 14 Nm.
Make sure the brake hose is routed correctly. Make sure the brake hose is not blocked, bent or rubbing against the vehicle.
- Clamp
- Bolts for Motor
- 12 Nm.
