Rear Brake Rotor, Replacing : Installing
-- Place the brake rotor on the hub.
-- Tighten the brake rotor with the bolt -7-.
-- Install the brake carrier.
-- Install the brake carrier -11- with the bolts -12-.
Make sure the brake hose is routed correctly. Make sure the brake hose is not blocked, bent or rubbing against the vehicle.
-- Install the brake pads. Refer to Installing .
-- Lower vehicle.
If the brake pads are replaced, start the corresponding program in Guided Functions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester to the vehicle data link connector with the ignition switched off.
Switch the ignition on.
The parking brake is released.
Coding check and reported if necessary.
DTC memory interrogated, errors shown corrected and DTC memory erased.
-- Start the program in Guided Functions.
Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
After installing, press the brake pedal several times firmly to properly seat brake pads in their normal operating position.
Check brake fluid level, and fill if necessary.
