- Electromechanical Parking Brake Motor
- Left Parking Brake Motor -V282-, Right Parking Brake Motor -V283-
- Refer to Left Parking Brake Motor -V282- /Right Parking Brake Motor -V283-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Refer to Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Screws
- 12 Nm
- Brake Pad Wear Sensor
- Left Rear Brake Pad Wear Sensor -G36- /Right Rear Brake Pad Wear Sensor -G37-
- For inner brake pad
- Replace if damaged.
- Cannot be removed without damaging it
- Refer to BRAKE PAD WEAR SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Bleed Screw
- 13 Nm
- Protective Cap
- Bolt
- 35 Nm
- Self-locking
- Replace after removing
- When loosening and tightening, counter-hold at guide pin
- Bracket
- For the connector
- Protective Sleeve
- For guide pins
- Install the repair kit if the caps or guide pins are damaged. Use supplied grease packet to lubricate guide pins
- Guide Pin
- Check ease of movement
- Install the repair kit if the caps or guide pins are damaged. Use supplied grease packet to lubricate guide pins
- Bolt
- 100 Nm +90°
- With a washer
- Note the different bolt lengths. The long bolt sits above.
- Replace after removing
- Brake Hose
- Make sure the brake hose is routed correctly. Make sure the brake hose is not blocked, bent or rubbing against the vehicle.
- Replace if damaged.
- Make sure that lugs are properly seated in grooves in bracket.
- Tightening specification, brake hose to brake caliper, 20 Nm
- Bracket
- For brake hose
- Welded onto the body
- Spring
- Replace if damaged.
- Brake Line
- Tightening specification, brake line to brake hose, 14 Nm
- Bracket
- For brake hose and electrical wires
- Bolt
- 9 Nm
- Stub Axle Carrier
- Cover Plate
- Refer to COVER PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Bolt
- 10 Nm
- Brake Rotor
- For the correct wear limit. Refer to REAR BRAKES .
- Always replace on both axles.
- Allocation.
- Refer to REAR BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Bolt
- 10 Nm
- Brake Pad Spring
- Replace when pads are replaced.
- Make sure it fits correctly in the brake carrier.
- Brake Pads
- Check the brake pad thickness. Refer to => 411.
- Always replace on both axles.
- Allocation.
- Refer to REAR BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Note installation position:
- Identification "BA" = outer brake pad
- Identification "BI" = inner brake pad with brake pad wear indicator mount
- Brake Pad Spring
- Replace when pads are replaced.
- Make sure it fits correctly in the brake carrier.
- Brake Carrier
- Supplied as an assembled replacement part with sufficient grease on guide pins
- Install the repair kit if the caps or guide pins are damaged. Use supplied grease packet to lubricate guide pins
- Brake Caliper
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REPLACING
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, ELECTROMECHANICAL PARKING BRAKE
- O-Ring
- Replace after removing
