Brake Caliper, Replacing : Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Torque Wrench 1331 5-50 Nm VAG 1331
Brake Pedal Actuator VAG 1869/2.

NOTE: Only bleed the brakes on the wheel which the brake caliper and the brake line was separated. If the brake pedal still feels "soft", completely bleed the brakes.

NOTE: In the following description the brake caliper is removed and replaced without the brake carrier and pads. The brake hose is removed.
