Brake Rotor, Replacing : Removing

WARNING: The four retaining pins for the brake pads on the brake carrier must not be loosened under any circumstances.

-- Raise the vehicle.

-- Remove the wheels.

-- Remove the front brake pads.

Do not let the brake caliper hang from the brake hose. Secure it to the body with suitable cable ties or wire. Do not support the weight with the brake hose.

-- Remove the bolts -3- on the front brake carrier.

CAUTION: Never remove bolts -6 and 9-

-- Remove the front brake carrier.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- on the brake rotor while holding the brake rotor firmly.

-- Remove the brake rotor.

NOTE: When removing the brake rotor from the wheel hub, do not tilt the brake rotor.
