Brake Caliper With Brake Carrier, Removing And Installing : Removing

WARNING:
The four retaining pins for the brake pads on the brake carrier must not be loosened under any circumstances.
-- Raise the vehicle.
-- Remove the wheels.
-- Free up the brake hose on the bracket -4-.
-- Release the electrical wire from the bracket -2- toward the left -A- and remove.
NOTE:
For easier removal of the brake caliper from the brake rotor, push the brake pads -3- back lightly with pliers -1-. To avoid damaging the paint coat on the brake caliper, place a piece of rubber -2- or similar material in between the pliers and the brake caliper. Do not damage the brake pad wear indicator cable while doing this.
-- Remove the bolts -1- from the brake carrier.
-- Remove the brake caliper with brake pads and the brake carrier.
Do not let the brake caliper with the brake carrier hang from the brake hose. Secure it to the body with suitable cable ties or wire. Do not support the weight with the brake hose.
WARNING:
Do not press the brake pedal when the caliper is removed.
