Brake Pad Wear Sensor, Removing And Installing : Installing

-- Insert the brake pad wear sensor contacts -1 and 2- in the brake pads until they engage.

NOTE: Make sure that the brake pad wear sensor contacts fit correctly in the brake pads.

-- To secure the brake pad wear sensor electrical wire -1-, attach the wire at the bracket -2-, route it through the brake caliper -arrow-, and secure it with the dust cap -3- as shown.

-- Bring the connector into its installed position and turn in direction of the -arrow- until the tab -1- engages in the hole -2- on the bracket.

-- Connect the electrical connector -3-.

-- Install the front wheel while observing the safety precautions for vehicles with ceramic brakes. Refer to Wheels, Tires, Wheel Alignment .
