Brake Caliper, Replacing : Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Torque Wrench 1331 5-50 Nm VAG 1331
- Brake Pedal Actuator VAG 1869/2.
- Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit VAS 5234 Container
NOTE:
Install on one axle on brake calipers from the same manufacturer and with the same quality
Use new bolts.
Do not loosen the bolted connections -A arrows-
Tighten the guide pins -B arrows- to 21 Nm to 26 Nm.
WARNING:
There is a risk of malfunction.

- Tighten the guide pins -B arrows- to 21 Nm to 26 Nm.
NOTE:
In the following description the brake caliper is removed and replaced. The brake hose is removed.
