Parking Brake, Mechanically Releasing

In individual cases the parking brake must be mechanically released.

Proceed as follows:

CAUTION: When mechanically loosening the parking brake, secure the vehicle from rolling.

-- Disconnect the connector from the motor.

-- Remove the connector from the retainer.

-- Remove both bolts form the motor.

-- Remove the motor.

CAUTION: When mechanically loosening the parking brake, secure the vehicle from rolling.

-- To loosen the brake turn the adjusting bolt on the parking brake motor with a tool -1-.

NOTE: Repeat the procedure on the other side, so that the rear brakes are loosened.
CAUTION: When mechanically loosening the parking brake, secure the vehicle from rolling.
