Left Parking Brake Motor -V282- /Right Parking Brake Motor -V283-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

NOTE:
Ignition on
Release parking brake
Coding check and reported if necessary.
DTC memory checked, malfunctions corrected and DTC memory erased.
Ignition off
-- Raise the vehicle.
-- Remove the wheels.
NOTE:
Ignition must be switched off for at least 30 seconds when disconnecting connector!
Clean entire area around connector and actuator/brake caliper.
-- Disconnect the connector from the motor.
-- Remove the connector from the retainer.
-- Remove both bolts form the motor.
-- Remove the motor.
-- Remove sealing ring with a suitable tool.
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the groove on the seal and the contact surface on the motor.
NOTE:
Do not use any tools with sharp edges.
-- Clean ring groove and contact surfaces if dirty. Only use brake cleaner
